DevDoctor provides consultancy for major new Gulf portal

DevDoctor.com is working with GulfCal.com, a major new online portal for the Arabian Gulf area. GulfCal.com provides event notification and management for ICT firms in the GCC marketplace, with particular emphasis on emerging technologies such as wireless applications and the development & deployment of (wireless-enabled) Arabic-English hosted applications.

The GCC area has seen unprecedented growth in ICT over the past 20 years, accoring to a 2003 IMF report. GulfCal.com is well-placed to tap into this growing market.

DevDoctor.com will provide consultancy services for performance, scalability and security, and assist with the roll-out of the Joomla-based site.

DevDoctor works with Salesforce.com partner

DevDoctor is working with Upside Outcomes, a London-based data visualisation specialist working with Salesforce.com's new AppExchange aplication sharing service.

DevDoctor will provide customised class libraries, written in C# 2.0, to enable rich interaction with charts from WinForms and ASP.NET.

DevDoctor wins contract extension for AMW

DevDoctor has secured the contract to develop additional functionality for Arab Media Watch (AMW), following successful launch of the site in May 2006.

The AMW site was completely re-developed by DevDoctor following a spate of intrusions and security breaches during 2005, when the site ran a different CMS. The DotNetNuke framework was chosen, due partly to its flexibility and extensibility, but - crucially - for its solid security model.

The new functionality for the AMW site will include an e-Commerce portal, SEO, and improved user forums.
