Who we are
Matthew Skelton
Matthew has over ten years' experience in the software systems industry. He has designed, developed, delivered and diagnosed software systems for organisations including London Stock Exchange, Lloyd's of London, Panasonic Avionics Corporation, TUI Travel, GlaxoSmithKline and Virgin Mobile.
He studied Computer Science and Cybernetics at the University of Reading, specialising in control systems; he also holds an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford. He has a wide range of experience of software systems in many difference industry sectors, including financial, medical, travel, telecoms, retail, oil and gas, and local government.
A keen proponent of agile development processes, Matthew also has strong experience of leading test-focussed development projects using languages and tools such as C#, Java, Python, PHP, Subversion, xUnit, continuous integration(CI), Selenium, WebLOAD and JMeter.
Matthew is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Professional Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS); he also holds the ITIL V3 Foundation certificate in IT Service Management.
